Understanding the mental health issues many of us struggle with allows us to better communicate and help each other

Depression & Anxiety

Depression

Depression is a common mood disorder that causes persistent feelings of sadness and a loss of interest in activities once enjoyed. It affects how a person feels, thinks, and handles daily activities, such as sleeping, eating, and working.

Anxiety

Anxiety is more than just temporary worry or fear; it involves excessive, persistent, and often intense nervousness about everyday situations. These feelings can become difficult to control, out of proportion to the actual danger, and may interfere with daily activities.

Schizophrenia

Schizophrenia is a serious mental disorder in which people interpret reality abnormally, often resulting in some combination of hallucinations, delusions, and disordered thinking. It affects a person's ability to think clearly, manage emotions, and function in daily life, typically requiring lifelong treatment.

Mood Disorders

Mood Disorders are a category of mental health conditions that primarily affect a person’s emotional state. These intense emotional changes often do not match a person’s current life circumstances and can significantly interfere with their ability to function.

Mood & Personality Disorders

Personality Disorders

Personality Disorders are a group of mental health conditions characterized by rigid and unhealthy patterns of thinking, functioning, and behaving. These patterns often deviate significantly from cultural expectations, causing distress and challenges in relating to people.
